Managing App Visibility Through Nav Bar Customization

I noticed the “Nav Bar Customisation” option on the Apps page. What exactly can we modify there? Is it just changing labels, or can we control which apps appear in the navigation menu?

Nav Bar Customisation mainly controls how apps and modules appear in the navigation menu.

You can manage:

  • Visibility

  • Order of items

  • Naming (in some cases)

it helps organize the user interface so that the navigation doesn’t become cluttered as more apps are added.

So this doesn’t affect app functionality, only how it appears in the menu?

Correct. It’s more about user experience than backend logic.

Can we hide certain apps from the navigation without deleting them?

Yes, you can control visibility from the nav bar customization settings without removing the app itself.

That’s helpful. As we add more apps, the navigation might become crowded. This seems like an important feature for governance.
